Pare is a big 6-foot-4 right-hander with long legs and is going to fill out and mature. He works with a short, online takeaway in the back and regular effort in a delivery he repeats fairly well. The fastball worked in the 86-88 range while the changeup, which acts as his best secondary pitch was in the 79-81 range and a developing breaking ball that worked at 74-77 mph. The size, arm, and ease make him a very intriguing 2023 arm that is uncommitted right now.

PBR Future Games Matteo Pare, a 2023 right-hander from the Windsor Selects, was efficient and effective during his 2.2 innings of work. He worked 85-87 with his fastball which had a ton of swing and miss, while mixing in a slider at 74-75 which he was able to throw for strikes or use as a strikeout pitch out of the zone. Pare fills up the zone and controls his body well on the mound, standing at 6-foot-4, 190-pounds. There’s lots to like from Pare and with the pitchability already there, it will be exciting to see how his stuff progresses over the next couple years.
