Moretto has improved every time we’ve seen him this year. A projectable 6-foot-2, 160-pound frame looks right in a uniform. In the box he works to the pull side with a long bat path through the zone. When he catches it out front, he creates loft and has power potential. On the infield, he works with clean hands with long range. Moretto continues to develop and is a guy that will be a close follow next season.

Moretto, 6-foot-2, 160-pounds, was easily one of the biggest standouts we had in Montreal. The tall, lengthy middle infielder shows clean actions on the dirt with clean hands and an arm that works across the diamond. At the dish, Moretto creates leverage and is able to get the ball in the air with loud, consistent contact to his pull-side with a 88 mph EV. Moretto is a projectable middle infielder that schools should be keeping tabs on going forward.
