Recent Howard Jc commit, Thibodeau, a 2020 catcher from GLC had his power on display this fall offensively. While defensively, he has continued to refine his footwork, while his arm works with strength and carry. He also ran a 7.00 60 at T12. Physical swing from the right-side, displayed power to all fields, something we hadn’t seen much of in the past. Bat speed and 6-foot, 190-pound physical frame allows him to hit for power. Continues to develop and improve on both sides of the ball.
2/18/19 Thibodeau very easily may of had the most bat speed on the day, and the 2020 uncommitted catcher absolutely let it eat during his BP round. The 6-foot-1, 180-pound right-handed hitter is strong in the box, getting gathered and looking to damage each and every time he lets it go. It’s a strong lower half with strong forearms and hands; the bat speed is evident with chance to really tap into some power at the dish. The 2020 grad is a guy schools need to be on and aware of.
