10.22.17 - Now 6-foot, 175-pound with strong upper half. Heighway works from 3/4 slot with some rhythm and tempo to delivery. Shoulders are angles and tilted with clean separation and arm in the back, gets outfront with fastball that worked at 82-84 with some run at times when he was outfront, threw strikes and was able to show feel for secondary stuff. Breaking ball had 10/4 shape and can see being a slider at the end of the day, had ability to get rotation on the ball and create some late bite when he was on top and out front. Changeup showed some fade when he maintained arm speed. Its clean with more to come as he gets stronger and more flexible. Like the repeatable actions and off-speed has real chance to compliment his stuff. Uncommitted arm that if still uncommitted by season, he will be one to lock in on as a late great pickup.
