Mireault, a 5-foot-11, 135-pound 2022 grad at the second-base position, was an attendee of Barrie Baycats Scout Day. Comfortable stance in the box, uses barrel wiggle as a timing mechanism, compact, contact-oriented swing. 77 mph exit velocity. Actions in the infield and outfield are clean, glove actions work, little wasted movement. Displayed feel for both defensive positions.
Body type: 5-foot-11, 135-pound thin frame.
Swing mechanics: Simple load into lower half with minimal movement. His hands stay loose and loaded.
Hit: Open stance with a middle-back approach, and level bat path.
