1.4.19 Gollert is a 5-foot-10 middle infielder with quickness and athleticism to his game. At the plate, he features an unusual setup where he starts with his barrel way forward before loading back and driving with his lower half. Gollert has a real quick bat through the zone and will generate exit velocities up to 78 mph. The swing will need to be tweaked allowing Gollert to get into slot earlier and have a more consistent path. He moves well in the infield to his left and right, getting into position early and effectively allowing him to make the routine plays. His physical development will control which side of second he plays at, but he’ll be able to stick in the middle at the next level either way. With Gollert’s athletic ability, he will be able to make adjustments and advancements throughout his high school years.
