The 5-foot-10 left handed hitter posted a .364 batting average at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M. He also led the team in home runs (8), RBI (45), and slugging percentage (.686). The Canadian-born infielder has plus bat to ball skills and is a solid defender.

Small is a 2018 middle infield prospect with actions across the board. Ran a 7.13 sixty while his speed plays well in game and is a base stealing threat with his knowledge and IQ. Offensively, left-handed bat with short stroke to the ball. Line drive type hitter who can also lift the ball and drive it to big part of field. Swing shows bat speed through the zone and stays balanced at contact. Defensively, under control, hands and arm work, gets rid of ball quickly with carry and accuracy. Solid 2018 grad who competes and plays game the right way and gets it done.
