2.10.19 Bentola continues to show well at our events this offseason, as he put on a display at the College/University Showcase. The 2021 Tri-City Giants product looked to add some weight and strength to his frame. Bentola demonstrates the intent to do damage at the plate, aggressively turning on pitches. There’s bat speed leading to some pop, which has resulted into 83 mph exit velocities. It is vital for Bentola to clean up his finish, he’s tense and cuts his swing off while uncomfortably landing on his front foot. This could lead to trouble hitting breaking stuff, as well as pitches on the outer half. The arm works with strength from the outfield up to 78 mph on the gun; it’s a controlled crow-hop with his body working simultaneously. Bentola has adjustments to make but years to make them and will be an enjoyable watch during the summer.
