Jackson, a 5-foot-8, 140-pound infielder/outfielder, was an attendee of Barrie Baycats scout day. From the right side of the dish, there’s bat speed and looseness in his body movements. Works low in the infield, collected and clean with his actions and gets off throws up to 74 mph. He is up to 76 mph from right-field as well. 7.47 runner.
5-foot-5, 145-pound right-handed hitting outfielder. Showed athleticsm in the outfield. Threw 69 mph from right field to home plate. Ran a 4.75 down the line on his dig to first base. The movements are athletic, and the frame needs strength added as he matures. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 69 mph. Hits out of an even footed start, gains ground with his front foot as the ball approaches him. The hands work clean and uses a 1-handed finish approach after contact. The path is clean, just needs additional strength.
