3/26/17 Cockram is a young 2020 grad listed at 5-foot-9, 140-pounds. Worked out behind the plate and infield. Velocities were close as he was 70 across the diamond while 68 mph from the crouch. Moved well with some speed to game, be able to get lower half footwork in sync defensively will help fine tune game and actions. At the plate, hands worked with uphill path to ball, when extended the ball was able to jump off the bat, showing some feel and quickness in his hands and swing, gets it ready in launch position with balance and then lets it go, swung it well in BP. Lots of time for growth, the bat looks to play as he continues to develop. H-1st: 4.85 C Velocity: 68 Pop Time:2.23 INF Velocity: 70 Exit Velocity: 74
