Ovelman is a 5-foot-10, 155-pound OF/RHP who runs a 6.85 60-yard dash. He is a talented hitter with a good arm (80mph across the infield). Ovelman will be participating in the PA Underclass Top Prospect Games in September.

9/27/12 Ovelman is returning from an injury to his throwing arm that had limited him to just playing offense. He was able to play shortstop at the event,but it was his feet and bat that were most impressive. He ran an event best 6.87 60-yard dash and displayed a bat exit speed of 79mph. Ovelman went 3-for-6 in game play and ran wild on the bases. With additional work defensively and added arm strength, Ovelman could be a player to watch in this class.
