Expanded Class of 2015 Rankings

It has been a very busy summer and fall of activity for PBR Pennsylvania. We have seen a host of talented prospects and with the completion of the PA Underclass Games we are prepared to expand our Class of 2015 Player Rankings. The list now includes 40 of the top players in this year's sophomore class. This list will continue to grow as we see players statewide at our winter events.

Several players have entered the rankings as a result of their performance at the PA Underclass Games. Of those who shined at the September 22 and 23 event, SS/RHP Aaron Ovelman was potentially the most impressive. Ovelman is returning from an injury to his throwing arm that had limited him to just playing offense. He was able to play shortstop at the event, but it was his feet and bat that were most impressive. He ran an event best 6.87 60-yard dash and displayed a bat exit speed of 79mph. Ovelman went 3-for-6 in game play and ran wild on the bases. With additional work defensively and added arm strength, Ovelman could be a player to watch in this class.
