6/14/15 6-foot, 180-pound righty pounded the zone from a 3/4 arm slot with a long arm motion. Tends to land open leading to some slight fade on his fastball that sat 78-80. Zechman's curveball showed 11/5 rotation at 64-67. Of the three pitches in his arsenal, Zechman's splitter is his calling card. On this date it sat 68-70 with near fastball arm speed and late tumbling action. Zechman displayed solid command of the pitch and the ability to throw it in both plus and minus counts.

6/24/15 6-foot, 170-pound frame. Pitched out of a high three-quarter slot with low elbow and bow-and-arrow arm action. Employs chest-high leg kick into a slightly crossfire delivery. Fastball sat 73-75 and touched 77, a slightly higher peak than when we saw him the previous week. Also incorporated a slow breaking ball at 59-60.
6/24/15 6-foot, 170-pound right-handed hitter. Hit from a square stance with near-waist-high leg kick. Good balance, keeps head still, repeats swing. Ran a 7.38 60-yard dash and 4.82 in-game home-to-1B time. Showcased 84-mph exit velocity and 79-mph arm strength during workout. Moved well in the outfield with low trajectory on throws.

6/17/15 Medium frame (6-foot, 170-pounds). Pitched out of a high three-quarter slot with low elbow. Good rhythm in wind-up with high leg kick and bow-and-arrow arm action. Fastball sat 74-75 and was complemented by a slurvy, sweeping breaking ball with 10/4 action at 63-64 and the occasional knuckleball at 64.
2/15/15 Zechman's repeatable delivery starts with a short, forward rocker step and has him getting stacked over the rubber well. He strides slightly closed and pitches out of a three-quarter slot. With good extension, he was able to work down with his fastball, although, at times (especially in the stretch), he would throw uphill and the pitch would flatten out on him. His slurvy breaking ball had nice shape to it and he also featured a split with some dive when it was down.
