Physical: Big-bodied 6-foot-3, 215lb frame with imposing actions.
Pitching: RHP. Starts slightly offset in the stretch-only from the middle/left side of the rubber; higher stack position that hides the chest with hip-coil. Timed up the landing with a full range of motion in the arm-swing (H ¾). The FB showed heavy action to the bottom of the zone at 84-87 mph (2169), mixing a quality mid-70’s CB, commanded with two-plane shape.
Physical: Strong/durable, much improved 6-foot-3, 215lb frame with starting pitcher upside.
Pitching: RHP. Works out of the stretch-only, off the far left corner of the rubber. Front foot comes offset in the “set” position giving him good direction when riding the slide down the slope. Tilts downward at footstrike, allowing for some heavy action on 82-84, T85 mph FB. Mixed above-average low-70’s CB that dodged barrels mostly as the main strikeout offering. Plus command on 75-77 mph CH with small fade back to arm-side. Three pitches with feel.
5-foot-11, 185-pound broad shouldered primary pitcher sat 75-77 from a high 3/4 arm slot while working solely out of the stretch. Curveball showed 11/5 rotation with average depth at 61-65. Changeup is an effective pitch with sinking action at 63-64.
