Andrew Frye: RHP/3B, (2023) Sharpsville, PA. 6-foot-3, 255-pound. Solid on the mound, showing consistent arm speed he had a loose arm action with a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows easy effort. Tall balance point with downhill shoulders. Lands soft with recoil finish. Threw his fastball 83-84 mph. Had slight running action. (Max spin 2049; Avg 1895). His 11/5 curveball (66-67) has slurvey action. (Max spin 1834; Avg 1737). He shows slight fading action on his changeup (71-73).

Delivery Notes: Doesn’t look like a typical freshman toeing the rubber, much like at the plate the physicality is obvious, moves well for frame, arm works and he should continue to add mphs.
Fastball: Topped at 83, more in the tank, heavy pitch.
Curveball: 65-68 mph, showed potential and signs of sharpness.
Changeup: 72-73, developing third offering with some later sink to it.
Hit: Very physical presence in the box, righty swinger with a fluid load that leads to a balanced launch, level path and the strength in stroke is obvious, all fields hitter with impressive jump. Very solid, well-rounded performance. 
Power: 87 mph exit velocity. Gap abilities that should evolve into at least occasional power.
Offensive Projection: Middle.
