Burman has a very quiet approach at the plate with a flat bat path through the zone. He exhibits gap power and the ability to make consistent hard contact. The right-handed hitter went 2-for-5 in game play with a bat exit velocity of 86 mph.
2/15/14 Burman showcased well at two positions over the span of the two day event. The 6-foot-1, 205-pound right-handed hitter utilized a square stance and a quiet lower half in a solid round of batting practice. Burman consistently barreled the baseball with an 87 mph bat exit velocity while showing the ability to use all fields. He registered a 4.69 home-to-1B time and displayed one of the top infield arms of the event with throws of 84 mph across the diamond from 3B. Behind the plate Burman displayed pop times of 2.09-2.16 on throws of 75 mph from the crouch.
