Physical: Athletic, compact 5-foot-10, 165lb frame with feel. 7.14 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH - Slightly bent, even stance with the hands in rhythm above the shoulder to start. Utilized a short leg-lift stride to initiate a synced up, slightly vertical path into the hitting zone with simple actions. Generated consistent, fluid swings during batting practice towards a deep one-handed finish promoting a 75% fly ball rate and loft during his round (via Trackman). Maintained space while sitting and turning over the rear hip, finding extension at the front of the plate for doubles power to pull (T85 mph bat-exit velo, 306 foot peak distance). Good rotational hitter with a strong top hand at the plate.
Defensively: The primary shortstop featured one of the cleanest defensive rounds of the day, leading the charge with above-average tempo and a downhill, attacking chest position over the toes. Fielded cleanly with soft, absorbing actions to the chest and released from a short, H ¾ slot across the diamond (82 mph arm, accurate). Rangy defender who made all the plays.
