9/10/16 Physical, 5-foot-11, 210-pound left-handed hitter displayed his pop (95 mph) and his foot speed (4.45 on the turn) on a double during game action. Haines ran an event best 6.71 60-yard dash, registered 84 mph arm strength from the outfield and topped at 80 mph off the mound. Haines is a dead pull hitter with present power. He has the athleticism to be able to drive the baseball to all fields with some swing adjustments that would allow him to be a middle of the order run producer at the next level.

6/15/16 5-foot-11, 205-pound left-handed hitter generates significant barrel whip with a very strong upper body and limited lower half action (89 mph bat exit velocity). Shows legitimate power to the pull side, but difficulty with the ball away. Went 2-for-3 with a double in game action on day one of the event. Runs well (6.88 60-yard dash) and displayed accurate 82 mph arm strength from the outfield.
Sat 79-80 from a high 3/4 arm slot in game action. Also displayed a 67 curveball with 1/7 rotation.
6/30/15 5-foot-11, 185-pound left-handed hitter. Starts from a square stance with a small lift and replace stride. Sits on backside well and creates significant barrel whip with a strong lower half. Took top round of batting practice at the event repeatedly driving baseballs to the right field wall with a bat exit velocity of 94 mph. Showcased his athleticism by running a 6.89 60-yard dash and displayed a 79 mph arm from the outfield. Additional work on footwork and fluidity defensively will place Haines among the top outfield recruits in this class.

6/30/15 5-foot-11, 185-pound primary outfielder. Sat 79-81 from a high 3/4 arm slot with a long-arm deliberate delivery. Showcased a 68 mph curveball with 1/7 rotation and a 70 mph changeup while displaying the ability to hold velocity of all pitches from the stretch. Very strong lower half and projectable frame should lead to significant velocity gains in coming years.
