Physical: Large and imposing 6-foot-2, 198-pound frame with physicality held throughout the build. 7.66 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Balanced, open stance with the barrel resting on the shoulder in the setup. Utilized a controlled toe-tap stride in order to initiate the hands through a flat path and into the hitting zone; stayed relatively high in the posture with feel for the barrel during batting practice. Recorded a sneaky 36% fly ball rate allowing for an 87 mph peak bat-exit velocity per Trackman Baseball. Mostly middle of the field approach with a controlled, balanced finish, 24.2 G’s of rotational acceleration points towards a nice power ceiling down the line.
Defensively: The third baseman showed off long lateral movements with a low center of gravity. Kept a soft glove hand down for an extended period of time with smooth shuffles for rhythm towards the target; recorded a 77 mph arm strength across the diamond.
Pitching: RHP - Started from the left side of the rubber with average pace; fluid delivery with ability to release from a consistent spot, FB ranged from 81-83 mph with some dive to it (1700 average spin / 12.2 inches of HM). Mixed a tight 66-68 mph SL getting up to 17.1 inches of HM max. Dropped in a quality 75 CH as well flashing deception out of the hand and 12 inches of fade.
