Offensively: RHH. Narrow, open stance with hands out in front; low leg kick that gains ground back to even while hands load straight back. aggressive lower half staying behind the ball with slightly uphill path with long extension through the zone; 17 degree bat angle into the zone via Blast Motion. Kurtz is able to produce 9.5 G’s of force with an on-plane efficiency of 85%.  Solid fly ball contact with gap to gap power potential; average Trackman exit velocity of 80.38 MPH; peak exit velo was 90 MPH.
Defensively: Walks into ready position; steady footwork; fields the ball glove side into a clean transfer; long arm action to a 3/4 slot.  OF - 79 MPH.

Demonstrated solid feel for a physically advanced 6-foot, 200-pound frame with present athleticism in his actions. The right-handed hitter begins with a balanced, even stance utilizing a knee-knock stride to initiate a strong, slightly uphill barrel path into the hitting zone. Generated advanced barrel speed through contact using a physical lower half to create quality hip-shoulder separation yielding natural pull-side lift and loud contact in front of the plate during batting practice. Recorded a 90 mph bat-exit velocity during batting practice while hitting into a stiff front side and ran a 4.59 home-to-first showing off the athleticism he possesses. The primary outfielder featured active feet, arriving to the ball on time while playing low to the ground. A soft glove hand worked through the ball yielding repeatable transfers in stride and an accurate 80 mph arm-strength from his position out of a high ¾ arm-slot. The right-handed pitcher sat 77-78 mph out of a high ¾ arm-slot with natural arm-side run. Mixed in a 70-71 mph curveball thrown with advanced arm-speed while showing 11/5 shape in the zone. Countered with a 68-69 mph changeup at near fastball arm-speed flashing occasional small arm-side fade.

The right-handed hitter begins with a balanced, open stance utilizing a knee-knock stride to initiate a slightly uphill barrel path into the hitting zone. Displayed fluidity in a physical lower half generating advanced hip-shoulder separation during batting practice. Demonstrated natural pull-side lift with carry to left and centerfield. Recorded an 88 mph bat-exit velocity and ran a 7.59 60-yard dash. The primary outfielder featured long movements during defensive evaluations with active feet playing through the ball towards the target with momentum setting up an accurate 75 mph arm-strength out of a high ¾ arm-slot.
