Physical: 6’1 185 lb CIF ran a 7.95 laser timed 60-yard dash. He has a solid frame to build off of to continue development.
Offensively: Simple set up in the box with the hands just behind the back shoulder. Has a slight wiggle in the hands as a timing mechanism before letting them explode towards the ball. Strong frame produced a 91 mph exit velocity.
Defensively: Feet are active pre-pitch as the ball is put in play. Uses his wide base to keep the ball in the center of his body. Glove plays lows to the ground as he moves laterally. Showed some hesitancy on the slow roller but made an adjustment with his arm slot to get it across the diamond.
