2/27/22

Physical: Projectable, athletic 6-foot-3, 175lb frame. Room to fill. 7.66 runner in the 60.

Offensively: LHH - Started from a crouched, square stance, as the hands worked upright at the shoulder. Utilized a short lift and replace stride to initiate the swing through a slightly vertical path into the hitting zone. Controlled one-handed finish on the backside and barrel-whip present at the plate. Recorded a gap to gap approach during his round, featuring a T89 mph bat-exit velocity, 82 mph AVG.

Defensively: The outfielder used his length to cover ground in either direction, getting around and through the ball at the window. Active feet and moderate posture, released from a H ¾ slot up to 84 mph from his position. Moved to first base with natural feel around the bag. Bent at the waist and let the glove play out in front. Strong feel when moving to his right side (glove side). 82 mph arm across the diamond.

6/15/21

Physical: Lean, lengthy, projectable 6-foot-3, 165lb frame with some athleticism present. 7.62 runner in the 60-yard dash.

Offensively: LHH - Wide, bent stance with the hands starting low at the shoulder to start. Barrel bounces slightly off the shoulder working to a barrel tip on-time with a lift and replace stride out towards the pitcher. Utilized a flat entrance into the hitting zone allowing for a line drive approach through the middle/RCF side of the field over the course of his batting practice round (50% LD rate via Trackman). Consistency stood out from the tall lefty, posting a T89 mph bat-exit velocity good enough for an 82 mph average. The bat-speed continues increasing which will only further expand already solid measurables in all categories.

Defensively: The first baseman featured above-average feel around the bag with low, lateral movements in either direction; approached with a soft glove hand and low posture, bending at the waist over the toes and funneling inward. Whippy, low intent ¾ slot and 76 mph arm across the diamond with slight arm-side run.

2/27/21

Physical: 6’2 165 1B/LHP ran a 7.70 laser timed 60-yard dash. Tall frame with plenty of room to fill out and improve overall strength. Solid base and actions to build off of.

Offensively: Uses a high leg kick and slight load of the hands to create timing. Creates good separation between hands and front foot before firing the barrel to the hitting zone. Really drives off his backside to increase power through the ball.

Defensively: Uses long and smooth movements approaching the ball, fielding off of either foot. Arm is smooth and continuous as he keeps momentum flowing through the target.

Pitching: Front leg and hands work in sync, similar to his hitting. Uses a high leg kick to generate some power as he strides towards the plate. Arm has a slight delay as he reaches back which creates some deception and hitches.

10/19/19

6-foot-2, 140-pound left-handed hitter starts from a square stance and utilizes a lift-and-replace stride to begin. Showcased a short, pull oriented line drive swing with a feel for the barrel. Registered a bat exit velocity of 75 mph and ran an 8.20 60-yard dash. Displayed active feet and solid glove work around the bag at first base with 68 mph arm strength across the diamond. The two-way prospect also sat 69-72 off the mound from a 3/4 arm slot with a long arm action. Fastball and changeup at 64-68 showed significant natural cut. Curveball is a pitch in development with 1/7 rotation at 58-62.

3/10/19

6-foot, 135-pound primary left-handed pitcher sat 63-67 mph from a high 3/4 arm-slot. He commanded a 56-58 mph curveball that showed 1/7 tilt. The lefty displayed a 58-61 mph changeup that featured small arm-side run. Left-handed hitter starts with a wide, square stance and utilizes a lift-and-replace stride to begin his swing. Used a deep load and flat bat-path to register a 73 mph bat-exit velocity. Demonstrated adequate feel around the bag and recorded throws of 63 mph across the infield. Ran an 8.46 60-yard dash.
