6/15/20

Physical: Long and lean 6-foot, 160-pound frame with plenty of projectability in the build. 7.23 runner in the 60-yard dash.

Offensively: Switch-hitter. RHH - Wide, slightly open stance with the hands wiggling between the shoulder and the ear. Utilized a controlled knee-knock stride with stretch in the load to the shoulder in order to initiate his swing. Demonstrated feel for strength in the lower half allowing for hard contact at the front of the plate and a pull-side approach during batting practice. The barrel played with accuracy through a flat path with occasional lift after contact. LHH - Mirrored the right-side with feel for the RCF gap and hard barrels at the front of the plate. Didn’t quite get through extension like he did from the right-side but still found consistent hard contact. Hit into a stiff front side yielding an 88 mph bat-exit velocity per Trackman Baseball.

Defensively: The outfielder demonstrated feel for athletic movements and a quick first step in either direction during defensive evaluations. Repeatedly beat the ball to the spot playing with downhill momentum through the fielding window towards the target yielding an accurate high ¾ arm-slot with length on the extension. OF - 82 mph

2/22/20

Displayed a long and lean 6-foot, 160-pound frame with present strength and fluidity in his actions. The switch-hitter mirrors from both sides starting from a balanced setup utilizing rhythm in the hands and a lift-and-replace stride to initiate a slightly uphill barrel path into the hitting zone. Showed advanced feel for the barrel from both sides peppering either gap during batting practice. Recorded an impressive 88 mph bat-exit velocity and ran a 7.25 60-yard dash. The primary outfielder showcased a quick first step with range to either side creating advantageous routes towards the baseball. Registered an accurate 81 mph arm-strength from his position out of a fluid high ¾ arm-slot. The infielder demonstrated active feet with soft hands in front and quality transfers yielding an accurate 76 mph arm-strength across the diamond with ability to throw across his body on the run.
