Delivery, out of high 3/4 slot was low effort and repeated well with long, loose arm action. Cain uses height and long levers to create angles and get downhill. 7/6/16 6-foot-4, 180-pound athletic build. At third base he showed good athleticism and movement. Soft hands, fielding out in front, then funneling it into his body before throwing from a high 3/4 slot with 78 mph arm strength across the diamond. On mound, tall, thin body frame that projects nicely. He uses quick arm speed, and uses a little bit of a hip load to help generate velocity from his lower half. His fastball was thrown between 80-82 mph. His breaking ball already has sharp break, with good depth at 67-69 mph. Has a tendency to slow his body down when he throws his changeup at 71-72.
