10/21/17 Ollio pitched well enough to win on this date, yielding four hits and one earned run in five innings. He pitched at 87-89, topping at 91, while mixing in an effective 77-80 curveball. Also an infielder, Ollio repeats his low-effort delivery well, and is a strike-pumper whose fastball seems to get up on hitters with sneaky arm-side life.
4/11/17 6-foot-2, 190-pound SS/RHP worked from high 3/4 arm slot with FB sitting 87-89.  FB showed little movement on this day.  CB thrown at 73-76 demonstrated 11-5 shape and at times showed late sharp break.  Slider sat 79-80.  Mechanics are clean with repeatable low effort delivery.  North Carolina commit.

10/23/16 Ollio does not immediately jump off the page with super speed, power, or velocity, but he had a fantastic tournament.  Ollio hit clean-up for the stellar Central Florida Gators all weekend with line drives all over the field, made all the plays at third base, and then pitched four-plus innings in a playoff victory.  On the mound, Ollio repeats a simple motion with a fastball ranging from 84-87 that he manipulates with sink to the arm side, and a 77-78 slider that he throws for strikes.  At the plate he utilizes a leg hang before shifting his weight forward to his front foot and whipping his hands through the zone for consistent solid contact.  Ollio is an all-around ballplayer, and is committed to North Carolina.
