Williams has a simple, line drive approach at the plate with a flat barrel path that allows him to stay in the hitting zone for an extended period of time.

Exhibited an approach that was geared to the opposite field with a slightly uphill swing path and 80-mph exit velocity. Defensively, he showed accurate 75-mph arm strength from an over-the-top slot.
2/7/15 Williams showcased developing arm strength (77 mph) across the diamond and capable defensive actions at both 3B and 1B. The 5-foot-10, 165-pound left-handed hitter starts from a square stance and utilizes a lift and replace stride to initiate his lower half. Williams displayed the ability to stay on plane throughout his swing while consistently barreling the baseball with a bat exit velocity of 80 mph.
