2027 OF Davontae Hardison (State College Area) Hardison features a strong, athletic build at 6-foot-0, 188 lbs. Offensively, the right-handed hitter showed a ground-ball-heavy approach (63% GB) with a peak exit velocity of 96 mph. Defensively, he showcased a big arm from the outfield, registering an impressive 86 mph velocity. His athleticism is highlighted by a quick 6.91-second 60-yard dash. Grip Strength: 150.7 / 140.8
Physical: Ultra-athletic, efficient 6-foot, 174-pound frame. 7.14 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Balanced, square stance, as the barrel wiggles with rhythm. Utilized a toe-tap stride and hand-pump to initiate the swing through a violent, uphill path into the hitting zone. Cleared the body for a T98MPH EV (91 AVG) and 345FT distance. Absolutely put on a show during gameplay; multiple 95MPH+ XBH’s. Impressive raw strength with an 85MPH bat-speed.
Defensively: Primary OF went and got the ball with natural tracking skills. Featured a glove-tap after fielding and reached back for an 80MPH arm-strength positionally (H ¾). Rounded footwork with momentum over the touch; corner profile.
Physical: 6-0, 174 pounds; Athletic, sturdy build. 7.12 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; has a pre-pitch bat waggle. Drops hands on the way back with a moderate leg kick for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a direct swing path with a two handed finish. More flyballs than line drives and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 93 MPH via Trackman. Showed advanced bat speed with a consistent power potential.
Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; uses prep hop while showing choppy feet. Hands are off to the side with a clean transfer. Long arm swing from a standard 3/4 arm slot. OF - 79 MPH.
