Physical: 5-foot-10, 170 pounds; Athletic, slight build. 7.25 runner in the 60. Offensively: LHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; upright bat position. Short take back with the hands with a slight leg-kick for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a direct swing path with a two handed finish. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 89 MPH via Trackman. Extremely consistent round with great rotational acceleration with plus bat speed. Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; walks into ready position while showing choppy feet. Hands are off to the side with a clean transfer. Moderate arm circle from a standard 3/4 arm slot.OF - 76 MPH.
2/12/22
Physical: Athletic, compact 5-foot-8, 155-pound frame. 7.48 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: LHH - Balanced, narrow stance with tons of pre-pitch rhythm in the hands. Utilized a short lift and replace stride that maintained balanced in the swing through a flat path. Good contact hitter and sprayed hard contact from gap to gap with an accurate top hand. Recorded an 83 mph bat-exit velocity (singles) and will see additional measurable success with added strength.
Defensively: The primary outfielder could fit a corner role down the road with good actions and choppy footwork on the approach. Accurate arm that used a short, quick takeaway, up to 72 mph from his position.
Pitching: LHP - Showcased some start/stop to the delivery and repeated. A direct arm-stroke reached to the mitt and delivered upper-60’s mph FB’s, countering with a sweeping 60 mph CB across the plate. Mixed a solid 60-61 mph CH with killed spin at 990+rpms, able to set up as a trusted secondary offering.
