7/20/16 5-foot-10, 160-pound right-handed hitter. Hits from a square stance with simple approach and short path. Consistently barreled the baseball during his BP round and turned around a mid-80s fastball during his first live at-bat. Posted 78 mph exit velocity and an in-game best 4.56 home-to-1B time. Defensively, he plays low to the ground, moves well laterally, can complete plays on the move, and shows 77 mph arm strength.
2/14/16 Advanced defensive actions for his age. Showcased good hands, a short, quick, repeatable arm stroke that generated accurate 75-mph throws across the diamond, and the body control to complete the slow roller play. Right handed hitter who ran a 7.08 60-yard dash and posted a 79-mph exit velocity, and whose hands work at the plate. Expect that latter quality to be accentuated and path to shorten some as he adds strength to his 5-foot-9, 155-pound frame.
1/10/15 Mummau impressed with an all-around skill set that will make him a prospect to watch in this class. The 5-foot-8, 150-pound right-handed hitter hits from a square, wide base and exhibited good balance throughout his swing. Mummau gets to extension routinely and squared the baseball to all fields with a bat exit velocity of 78 mph. The 8th grader showed fluid actions defensively and the ability to play through the baseball with an accurate 71 mph arm across the diamond. Mummau completed a solid performance by running a 7.14 60-yard dash.
