6/18/14 Lander, a 5-foot-11, 170-pound lefty had a breakout performance at the PA Top Prospect Games displaying a 4-seam fastball that sat 87-88 with arm side run. Lander had been sitting 83-85 for the past 12 months. The uncommitted senior also commanded a 2-seam fastball with cut action at 85-86. Lander flashed a 74 mph changeup at near fastball arm speed and threw a number of plus curveballs at 74 mph with hard biting action.

2/16/14 Lander showed good tempo and the ability to command three pitches out of a high 3/4 arm slot. The 5-foot-11, 170-pound lefty sat 80-81 with more in him with some minor tweaks to his landing position. Lander also displayed a 69 mph curveball with tight rotation that showed 12/6 rotation when he got on top of it. The junior showed a feel for his 73 mph changeup with some sink.
11/16/13 Lander is a 5-foot-11, 170-pound LHP that sat 79-81 out of a high 3/4 arm slot. He commanded his 67 mph 1/7 breaking curveball with good down action and a 70 mph changeup that showed cut action. Lander displayed sound, repeatable mechanics and the ability to pound the strike zone.
9/26/12 Lander showcased well in all facets of the game. The lefty showed a 79mph fastball and a 65mph curveball from the mound. The curveball has tight 1/6 break and with work could become a plus pitch. Lander had a solid 79mph bat exit speed and had hits in both games played by the White Team. The 5-foot-10, 150-pound left handed hitter shows good range and fluid movements in the outfield as well.
