Physical: Compact, strong 5-foot-9, 175lb frame with even proportions. 7.64 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Upright, slightly open stance with a minor bend in the knees to begin; utilized a stretch back to the shoulder at the load and operated into the hitting zone at a slightly uphill path with high intent, good rotational PWR. Found success consistently at the front of the plate driving the ball deep to pull, working his way up to a T94 mph bat-exit velocity via Trackman and posted a max of 355 foot batted ball distance during his batting practice round. Notched a 64% fly ball rate suggesting natural loft in the approach, on the barrel in game action too with middle of the order projection.
Defensively: The primary middle infielder showed good length on the left side with active, choppy feet at the start; featured a right to left direction through the fielding window as a soft glove hand funneled cleanly into the waistline. Held some pace and got down towards the first base bag releasing from H ¾ slot (87 mph arm, accurate). Above-average defensive skills with ability to shift around different infield positions (SS, 2B, 3B) with easy positional versatility.
Physical: Strong, well put together 5-foot-9, 170-pound frame. 7.69 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Tall and upright, open stance with the barrel pointed upwards with minimal rhythm in front of the shoulder. Utilized a leg lift stride with ability to hold his positioning over the backside throughout the “forward” move unleashing the barrel through a short, slightly uphill attack angle and into the hitting zone. Flashed advanced barrel awareness at the plate with a 55% line drive rate during batting practice, spraying the baseball hard from gap to gap. Generated a standout 64% hard hit rate with a very high rotational power ceiling (27.3 G’s per Blast Motion). Physical in the box and doesn’t get cheated; peak bat-exit velocity of 94 mph.
Defensively: The primary middle infielder has a second baseman’s build, but moved well laterally with a medium-low center of gravity. Beat the ball to the spot with good timing at the fielding window allowing for momentum on accurate 81 mph throws across the diamond. Made the play on the run with athleticism while throwing from a slightly lower slot.
