Physical: Physical upper half and strength throughout a 5-foot-8, 170-pound frame with athleticism in the movements. 7.23 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Tall and loose, open setup with the hands starting high at the shoulder. Utilized a long lift and replace stride coupled with minimal stretch in the load to initiate his swing. The hands worked through a slightly uphill barrel path with lots of rotation at the contact point. Physical lower half generates loud contact at the front of the plate allowing for plenty of pull-side pop during batting practice. Showcased the ability to go backside when he stayed in the legs. Displayed feel for the hands while hitting into a stiff front side and registered a 90 mph bat-exit velocity per Trackman Baseball.
Defensively: The shortstop is a quality defender with a low center of gravity and feel for lateral movements. Consistently beat the ball to the spot and played with downhill momentum through the fielding window. Strong lower half generated powerful drive on the throws allowing for high level arm strength that should keep him on the left side moving forward. Made the play on the run with a feel for timing and ability to throw from multiple arm angles; primarily through from a fluid and accurate, high ¾ slot. SS - 85 mph
