6/13/21

Physical: Tall/projectable 6-foot-2, 180lb frame with some athleticism on the bump.

Pitching: RHP - Gradual pace on the bump, gaining momentum throughout the delivery; medium stack position before driving out towards the plate with consistent movements. Highly repeatable pounding the zone at 83-85 mph with slight arm side run from a fluid, ¾ release. Turned over a hard-thrown 73-74 mph curveball with short, developing shape and added more confidence in a 74-76 mph SL (-5.1 inches depth, -3.8 inches HM average).

2/07/21

Physical: Large, high-waisted 6-foot-1, 175-pound frame with some projection to him.

Pitching: RHP - The righty showed a slow pace in the delivery with a medium-high leg lift at the top of the stack; the arm worked fluidly out in front with low-effort, yielding accurate 81-83 mph FB’s on either side of the plate with a 67% zone rate during his bullpen. Mixed a loopy 72 mph SL with short and late shape at the dish and countered with a 76 mph CH showing fade to the arm side while being thrown with a lower release height than the FB. With additional feel on the offspeed, you’re looking at an extremely effective arm down the road.

6/15/20

Physical: 6-foot-1, 170 pounds; long and projectable.
Pitching: Sets up in the center of the rubber, side steps and drops his hands to his waist methodically, strides and finishes at his target. Medium arm swing with effortless arm action. FB: T 82MPH, 79-81 MPH. Shows some arm side run, average 1724 spin rate, 15" of horizontal movement, 11" induced vertical movement. CB: 66-67 MPH. Short-breaking, 11-5 shape, 3" of horizontal movement and 5" of induced vertical break.  CH: 67-68 MPH. Occasionally shows some depth with fading action.

2/29/20

Demonstrated feel for a long and lean 6-foot-1, 170-pound frame with room to fill out as he matures. The primary right-handed pitcher sat 76-79 mph out of a whippy, low ¾ arm-slot with natural arm-side run and occasional front side leak to the first base side. Mixed in a 62-65 mph curveball showcasing 11/5 sweeping action across the zone. The right-handed hitter begins with a balanced, even stance utilizing a quick leg-lift to initiate his swing. Generated a flat barrel path into the hitting zone using the middle of the field during batting practice. Hit into a stiff front side allowing for a 70 mph bat-exit velocity and ran a 7.41 60-yard dash. The middle infielder displayed average footwork with a moderate center of gravity playing with a soft glove hand in front. Recorded an accurate 73 mph arm-strength across the diamond out of a ¾ arm-slot.
