2/23/13 Blank is a polished receiver and blocker of the baseball. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound prospect has a very athletic build and does not appear to be done maturing physically. He showcased pop times of 2.05-2.15 on throws of 76 mph out of the crouch. Blank squared the baseball consistently in a solid round of batting practice. His 85 mph bat exit velocity and athleticism at the plate give the impression that legitimate power is a tool that Blank will likely carry with him to the next level.

1/26/13 Blank showcased one of the top bat exit velocities of the day at 90 mph. The 6-foot-3, 195-pound catcher receives and blocks pitches very well. He displayed 2.06-2.15 pop times on throws of 75 mph out of the crouch. Offensively Blank had an impressive round of batting practice, squaring nearly every pitch and driving the baseball to the gaps. Blank is long limbed and must continue to work to stay inside the baseball to generate a short path to the baseball.

10/12/12 Blank is a Pennsylvania resident who attends school in Maryland. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound C/3B ran a 7.29 60-yard dash, and had a solid 86mph bat exit speed. Blank shined in game play going 2-for-3 with two RBI. He also showed well defensively with pop times of 2.05-2.10 on throws of 74mph from the crouch.

8/22/12 Blank ran a solid 7.31 60-yard dash and had the second best bat exit speed velo of the event at 88mph. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound backstop showed solid receiving skills and displayed pop times of 2.19-2.28 with a top throw of 73mph out of the crouch. Blank showed good pop during his round of batting practice.

6/14/12 Garrett is a 6-foot-2, 190-pound catcher who attends the St. James School in Maryland. He was easily one of the most impressive prospects on the day. Blank's bat exit speed velocity of 84 mph was tops at the event, and led to a strong offensive showing where he consistently drove balls to both gaps. Blank is a polished defensive catcher with a solid set up and receiving skills.
