Game Performance

Notes

Comments

7/26/23

Physical: Leveraged, athletic 6-foot-2, 180-pound frame with nasty stuff to match.

Pitching: RHP. Quicker delivery that is clean in the sequencing. Worked to both sides from a H ¾ slot with no restrictions on an 87-90MPH FB (2358 rpms). Strong lead leg block and carry/extension through the finish, mixing a + mid-70’s SL with different tilts, up to 16 inch HM. Chance to be a well sought-after starter at the next level. Looks the part.

6/13/23

Physical: 6-2, 175 pounds; Long, slight build. 7.18 runner in the 60.

Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet wide spread; flat bat to start. Short take back with the hands with an up and down stride for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an average effort from the legs. Showed a slight lift to the ball with a late one hand finish.  More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 92 MPH via Trackman.

Defensively: Starts with a low to the ground setup; uses prep hop while utilizing a quick first step. Hands are out in front with a clean transfer. Moderate arm circle from a standard 3/4 arm slot. INF - 86 MPH.

Pitching: Uses a glove side setup while using a side step. Mid chest leg drive with a slight lean over the belt. Has a long stride landing inline with the plate. Long arm swing while arm stays in line with 2B; standard 3/4 slot. Spins off 1B side with finish. FB: Peak velo of 89 MPH, while sitting 84-87 MPH; life through the zone. CB: 68-71 MPH; slurve  like action.
