6/13/23

Physical: 6-0, 230 pounds; Sturdy, full build. 8.06 runner in the 60.

Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; bat positioned at a 45 degree angle. Loads straight back with an up and down stride for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an aggressive lower half. Showed a direct swing path with a two handed finish.  More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 92 MPH via Trackman.

Defensively: Starts with a low to the ground setup; uses prep step while playing low to the ground. Hands are out in front with a clean transfer. Moderate arm circle from a high 3/4 arm slot. INF - 69 MPH.

3/04/23

Physical: XL 6-foot, 230-pound frame with big legs. 7.91 runner in the 60YD.

Offensively: RHH. Open, crouched stance, as the hands worked preset around the shoulder. Utilized a quiet leg-hang stride to initiate the swing through a slightly uphill, whippy path into the hitting zone. Evident bat-speed with occasional lift to finish, allowing for backspin to the pull-side gap. Recorded a T90MPH EV, up to an estimated 353FT.

Defensively: The primary first baseman featured a hop in the prep-step and wide base. Attacked the ball with a centered/soft glove-hand. Shorter, quick arm-action at 74MPH from a H ¾ slot. Flashed inside move on the double play turn.
