Game Performance

Notes

Comments

6/12/22

Physical: Compact, athletic 6-foot-2, 208lb frame, athletic thrower who competes in the zone.

Pitching: RHP - The righty setup off the middle of the rubber with a pause at the side rocker and pace coming out of it; clean stack position with hip-coil and deception through crossfire at release (H ¾ slot). FB ranged 79-82 mph to the arm-side, sinking at times. Mixed quality 73-75 mph SL as the out pitch with increased command. Added and subtracted when he wanted to; had hitters fooled often.

6/15/21

Physical: Strong, projectable 6-foot-2, 185lb frame with durability and athleticism on his move down the slope.

Pitching: RHP - Started off the far left side corner of the rubber to begin; above-average pace to the delivery, getting the ball and going from a balanced stack position. Drove down the mound in a connected manner, able to reach out over the front side at footstrike with a fluid H ¾ arm action at release. The FB ranged from 78-80 mph with low-spin and occasional heaviness to the bottom of the zone, mixing a well-spun 70-73 mph SL T2300rpms that flashed a consistent 7+ inches of HM across the plate. Able to throw each in any count, keeping hitters between speeds for the most part (got groundballs in game action).
