7/15/20

Physical: Large and powerful 6-foot-5, 235-pound frame with projectability. 7.96 runner in the 60-yard dash.

Offensively: RHH. Begins with a crouched setup as the hands start idle on the shoulder. Utilized a barrel raise for the load coupled with a short lift and replace stride to initiate a loud, flat barrel path into the hitting zone at the front of the plate. Loved attacking the baseball using solid ground power in the box, the backside held firm while throwing the hands with authority towards impact / showed off quality bat to ball skills at the plate with ability to get the hands inside the baseball repeatedly on pitches in any quadrant. Mature approach in the box while dealing the most damage on the inner half, recorded a top bat-exit velocity of 90 mph according to Trackman Baseball / top batted ball distance of 331 feet.

Defensively: The primary first baseman featured a medium-high center of gravity on the approach while fielding off of the middle of his body with a soft glove hand. Adequate feel around the bag while throwing accurately across the diamond out of a high ¾ slot. INF - 73 mph

2.16.19 - 6-foot-5, 220-pound right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and utilizes a controlled lift-and-replace stride to begin his swing. Showed above average feel for the barrel with a bit of barrel wrap in his load. Current power to pull side with a bat exit velocity of 86 mph. Potential to develop into a middle of the order bat at the next level. Ran a 7.52 60-yard dash and showcased capable glove work around the bag at first base with accurate 71 mph arm strength across the diamond.
