Pitching: Sets up on the third base side of the rubber with his feet close together, drop steps into a deliberate but rhythmic windup, finishes out on his front side. Moderate take back with a high 3/4 arm slot. FB: T 80MPH, 76-80 MPH. shows some late tail away from righties. CB: 66-70 MPH. sharp 11-5 shape. CH: 69 MPH. shows some cutting action as its drops.
5-foot-7, 145-pound left-hander sat 79-80 from a 3/4 arm slot with a high knee stack while continually getting downhill. Curveball at 66-68 had late, short slider action. Also commanded a changeup at near fastball arm speed with arm-side run that sat 69-70. Pounds the zone and all three pitches come out of the same window with the high knee adding deception.
