2017 PBR Future Games - Team Pennsylvania
4/21/17 5-foot-10, 170-pounder with elastic, slingshot arm action. Deliberate wind-up and pitches from a three-quarter slot. Fastball sat 83-86, touching 87 mph in the first inning when he elevated an 0-2 pitch. Unafraid to pitch inside vs RHH and did so effectively. Appeared to take something off and really turn the pitch over a couple times at 80-81. Exhibits high confidence in a change-up at 74-76 that he often shook to in fastball counts with which he stayed off the barrel. Slider at 72-73 was just a spinner on this day. Entire arsenal should add some finish to it when he learns to get over his front side. Very intriguing young arm who is slated to pitch for Team PA at the 2017 PBR Future Games.
2/12/17 5-foot-10, 170-pound lefty delivered an up-tempo bullpen with a very quick arm out of a high 3/4 arm slot. Initiates his delivery with a side-rocker step and gets a lot out of his lower half in getting downhill repeatedly. The freshman sat 85-86 with command of the lower half of the strike zone with limited wasted motion in his delivery. He also showcased a slider at 78-80 and a changeup at 76-79 with good sell. Both pitches are above average offerings for an underclassmen. Extor has since been added to the Team Pennsylvania roster for the 2017 PBR Future Games in August.
