Physical: Highly athletic 6-foot-2, 175lb frame with projection left. Future Games alum.
Pitching: RHP - Begins off of the far left corner of the rubber; short side rocker and gains momentum throughout the delivery. Loose, full arm-action that times up footstrike, and phases well from the “ground up” when working down the slope. The FB landed at 82-84 mph on this date with ride/run characteristics. Mixed a shorter, hard-thrown 74-76 mph CB at 2215 rpms with 11/5 shape and dropped in a developing 76-78 mph CH at times.
Physical: Lengthy, projectable 6-foot-2, 175lb frame with two-way feel. 7.13 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Started from a wider, balanced stance as the hands operated at the shoulder. Utilized a gather load to the backside, lifting the leg up/down while initiating through a flat, direct path into the hitting zone. Connected well early on his approach to the ball, sequencing from the ground up with the ability to lift when pitched up in the zone. Notched a T91 mph bat-exit velocity and handled pitches out over the plate using leverage at impact. Athleticism stands out with adjustability found in the lower half, matching pitch-plane to multiple quadrants.
Defensively: The outfielder demonstrated smooth, but under control actions, driving the chest over the toes with some pace towards the target. Fielded cleanly off his left, funneled inward, and released accurately with plus arm talent from a longer H ¾ slot (full arm circle; 88 mph arm).
Pitching: RHP - The righty started off the left side of the rubber with tempo in the delivery; stayed in rhythm through the leg lift, working down the slope with athleticism into footstrike at a H ¾ power slot. Blocked off the front-side properly, generating some jump on an 83-86 mph FB to the plate. Mixed in a 68-70 mph CB with good two-plane tilt (11/5 shape) and ability to command to the bottom of the zone. Added a slight-fading 74-77 mph CH that ran to the arm-side.
Physical: Athletic, projectable 6-foot-2, 175lb frame with natural feel for his body in space. 7.13 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Balanced, stretched, slightly bent into the backside setup with the hands at the shoulder to start; utilized a toe tap stride with a lengthy, leveraged barrel operating through a flat path into the hitting zone. Handled pitches in any quadrant, tucking the hands in on the inner half, but showed his best results on a line to the LCF gap when pitched over the plate. Worked up to a T91 mph bat-exit velocity with room for more adding an impressive 55% line drive rate per Trackman during his batting practice round. A 22 mph hand speed alludes to twitch at the plate and ability to handle upper level velocities moving forward.
Defensively: The primary outfielder showcased easy rightfielder considerations staying behind the baseball with natural feel for his body in space; fielded smoothly off the inside of the left foot, gathering and releasing off a stacked up backside and whippy high ¾ slot (88 mph arm, immediate carry).
Pitching: RHP - Started off the far left side of the rubber with continued pace throughout the delivery, medium/narrow leg lift and fluid move down the slope with ability to get on top of a high ¾ release consistently. FB ranged from 84-87 mph with high intent creating some run and carry up above the belt on occasion. Mixed a hard-biting 69-71 mph SL for strikeouts, missing barrels off the outside corner to RHH. A 78-80 mph CH faded to the arm-side and will create issues for hitters as it holds the zone at a higher rate. Tough to barrel up in his PA State Games outing, pounding the zone early and often.
Physical: 6’2 175 RHP/ OF uses his body and size to his advantage. Shows upright approach creating leverage on both sides of the ball. 7.3 runner in the 60-yard dash
Offensively: Short compact swing staying tall in his legs and driving off the backside. Produced an 84 mph exit velocity with a quiet barrel and short stride into the pitch.
Defensively: Simple movements when approaching the ball and max intent on the throw to the plate. Showed arm strength and
Pitching: Working from both the windup and the stretch, displays a short quick arm working down the mound with intent. FB was consistent at 83-85. (2269 spin) CV at 68-71 (2328 spin) and a power CH at 77-79. Shows major upside and potential for even more growth with velocity
