2023 Creekside JC Showcase: Long, loose and athletic at 6-foot-4, 220 pounds, the redshirt-sophomore barrelled ball after ball during the Roughriders’ game against Indian Hills. He connected with an easy, left-handed stroke and stayed inside the ball, using the middle of the field for each of his three hits. As a defender he presented a tall target with good feet around the bag and average arm strength. Morton also ran average underway.
