Physical: Lean, athletic 5-foot-10, 155lb frame with RTF. 7.30 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Balanced, square stance, as the hands operated calm, pre-set at the shoulder. Utilized a leg-lift stride on time with lower hand pump position to launch. Initiated through a flat path with good body control into the slot. Posted a T87 mph bat-exit velocity and repeated swings up to a 50% sweet spot rate.
Defensively: The primary shortstop featured a quick first step and range in either direction. Choppy feet that could start and stop, releasing up to 80 mph from his position. Made the play on the run and excelled to his left.
Pitching: RHP - The righty impressed during his look on the hill. Clean pace and fast arm from shorter AA. Commanded both sides of the plate with an 80-83 mph FB (20 inches IVB) and sweeping 74-76 mph SL for strikes.
5-foot-7, 140-pound right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and initiates his swing with a toe-tap stride. Displayed balance throughout with a feel for the barrel. Registered a bat exit velocity of 79 mph and ran an 8.07 60-yard dash. Played through the baseball consistently at third base with accurate 74 mph arm strength across the diamond. The righty sat 75-76 off the mound from a stiff, high 3/4 arm slot. Also showcased a developing curveball at 59-62 and a flat changeup at 65-66.
