Physical: Strong/durable and athletic 5-foot-8, 170lb frame with feel for his body in all phases. 6.65 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Wide, balanced stance getting into the lower half to start with controlled hands at the shoulder; utilized a leg lift stride, finding the ground on time initiating the hands through a flat, immediate path into the hitting zone. Whippy barrel that generated lots of success lifting to the pull-side gap during batting practice (27% line drive rate, T93 mph bat-exit velocity via Trackman Baseball). Worked his way up to an eventual 314 foot batted ball distance, adding multiple extra-base hits during game action. Top of the order consideration down the road with ability to slot anywhere from 1-5 in a collegiate batting order. Defensively: The primary outfielder showed extremely well on the defensive end during the PA State Games, with good reads off the bat and a fearless style of play in space. Went and got a ball in game action where he extended on a full layout and secured a diving catch on the foul line. Easy CF projection with a strong 85 mph arm from high ¾ (accuracy, carry).
Pitching: RHP - Started off the middle of the rubber with consistent pace, good mechanics, and overall feel in the delivery. Rotated downward into footstrike holding direction in the forward move, on time through a high ¾ slot. FB ranged from 82-84 mph (strikes, horizontal movement) and added a swing/miss 70-72 mph CB thrown with the same arm speed. Two-way skillset flashed and was evident in both phases.
