2/22/20

Showcased feel for a projectable 5-foot-11, 170-pound frame with lean strength. The right-handed hitter begins with a balanced, even stance utilizing a leg-hang to initiate his swing. Quick hands generated a short barrel path to the ball, yielding an impressive round of batting practice spraying line drives to both gaps. Displayed occasional pull side lift when catching the ball out in front of the plate. Recorded an 80 mph bat-exit velocity during batting practice and ran a 6.80 60-yard dash. The backstop featured adequate receiving skills with minimal glove movement at the catch point. Pop times ranged from 2.00-2.03 on accurate throws of 74 mph from the crouch out of a quick, high ¾ arm-slot. Solid straight line footwork and fluid transfers created repeatable throws on the bag. Demonstrated adequate blocking skills beating the ball to the spot and showing soft walls with downward chest angles.
