6/15/21

Physical: Ultra-lean, projectable, and athletic 6-foot-1, 155lb frame with two-way abilities. 6.81 runner in the 60-yard dash.

Offensively: RHH - Slightly upright, open stance with lots of looseness to the start; utilized an easy toe tap stride getting down on the ground on time with a quick trigger through a flat path into the hitting zone. Notched a 67% line drive rate per Trackman Baseball and worked his way up to a 277 foot batted ball distance and held consistent mid-70’s bat-speed pointing towards ability to handle velocity moving forward. Long limbed, but stayed short in the approach and found his best results elevated to the LCF gap.

Defensively: The primary shortstop demonstrated rangy, active footwork taking good deep routes to the baseball, giving himself a chance to finish plays. Soft glove hand from a medium/low posture and solid pace across the diamond releasing from a whippy, high ¾ slot (78 mph arm).

Pitching: RHP - Started off the middle of the rubber with moderate pace to the delivery; came stacked at a balanced, traditional position holding good connection down the slope. The FB peppered the zone appearing mostly straight at 78-80 mph, adding a gradual two-plane breaker (63-65 mph, 2217rpm max) in advantage counts with 11/5 tilt. A 62-64 mph CH was thrown with average sell and killed spin at 1158 AVG rpms.
