Physical: 5-foot-11, 152 pounds; Athletic, slender build. 7.47 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; bat positioned at a 45 degree angle. Short take back with the hands with an up and down stride for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a moderate swing path with a late one hand finish. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 83 MPH via Trackman. Showed good tempo in the swing which led into a high percentage of hard hit balls.
Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; walks into ready position while showing choppy feet. Hands work through the ball with a clean transfer. Long arm swing from a standard 3/4 arm slot. OF - 80 MPH. Looks under control while moving towards the ball.
Pitching: Uses a center rubber setup working primarily from the stretch. Mid chest leg drive with a slight lean over the belt. Has a moderate stride landing inline with the plate. Long arm swing while showing no restrictions; standard 3/4 slot. Spins off 1B side with finish. FB: Peak velo of 81 MPH, while sitting 79-80 MPH; plays up in the zone. CB: 69-71 MPH; 2-8 shape. CH: 76-77 MPH; fading action. Very long arm swing with a loose arm, projectable uptick in velocity once the body is more mature.
