1/16/16 6-foot, 220-pound left-handed hitter flashed significant barrel whip with present power and a bat exit velocity of 88 mph. Weber starts from a square stance with a high hands load and utilizes a short stride to initiate his swing. A solid hip turn and good tempo allowed the junior to lace line drives consistently during an above average round of batting practice. Weber showcased pop times of 2.15-2.20 on throws of 68 mph from the crouch. Additional work to fully engaged his back side on throws will allow for even lower times. Weber also displayed a soft glove hand and sound feet around the bag at first base.
