7/21/15 5-foot-9, 160-pound right-handed hitter. Hit from slightly open stance, getting up on toe and rolling front knee in. Some hip float and top half dive. Attacks the baseball with good extension through contact. Ran a 7.13 60-yard dash. Showcased 80-mph exit velocity and 82-mph arm strength during workout. Throws on low trajectory would have more carry and travel straighter if he he got his front foot around toward his target instead of landing open.

6/17/15 5-foot-9, 160-pound right-handed hitter. Hits from a slightly open stance with heel raise stride. Gets weight into his front side early, causing him to muscle the bat with his upper body and inhibiting the use of his lower half in his swing. Moved well defensively and showcased 84-mph arm strength in workout.

2/14/15 Speck ran a 7.34 60-yard dash and showcased solid carry on throws of 78 mph from the outfield. The 5-foot-9, 160-pound sophomore hits from a square stance with no stride. The right-handed hitter uses a knee load and a flat swing plane that allows him to stay in the hitting zone for long periods of time. Speck barreled the baseball routinely showing the ability to use all fields with a bat exit velocity of 78 mph.
