2/23/13 Lacey is a 6-foot-2, 170-pound junior who showed athletic actions and the ability to play through the baseball. He showcased sound throwing mechanics on throws of 78 mph across the diamond. Lacey hits out of a square stance and utilizes a large stride with weight shift to create torque and barrel whip. He routinely barreled the baseball and showcased an 88 mph bat exit velocity.
10/12/12 Lacey was solid in all facets of the game as he ran a 7.24 60-yard dash, threw 77mph across the infield and turned in a bat exit speed of 83mph. Lacey had a solid round of batting practice using a short, compact stroke to square baseballs to all fields. The 6-foot-2, 170-pound prospect turned in a 1-for-4 performance at the plate in game play.
